Kazakh super middleweight prospect (up to 76.2 kg) Aidos Yerbosynuly (16-0, 11 KOs) said at the final press conference before the fight with WBA champion David Morrell (7-0, 6 KOs) that he has a season in his homeland hunting. As if hinting.
“Now it is hunting season in Kazakhstan. I’m on the hunt in America. I am a hunter. On Saturday, I will hunt for Morrel and his title,” Yerbosynuly said.
“People can think whatever they want about Morrel, but I am confident in myself,” he added for
BoxingScene. There is nothing special about him, just an ordinary opponent. Having the belt will give me the opportunity to fight bigger names.”
Who it is known: Saul Alvarez or David Benavidez.
“Canelo and Benavidez are big names. If I pass Morrel, I would like to challenge Benavidez. I like Canelo because we were in training camp with him for a month, sparring. I respect him very much, he is like an idol, and we must respect him, because he fought with many champions, – Aidos pours oil. “Therefore, in order to deserve a fight with him, you must first prove yourself. Therefore, I would like to challenge Benavidez next, and only then Canelo. Because I have a lot of respect for him.”
The Morrel-Yerbosynuly fight will take place tomorrow in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

In general, if anything, the Kazakh has not boxed since September 2021 (during this time, Morrel has already held two defenses). Back in the spring, Benavidez was called to cook his ass: Morrel promised him something terrible.
