If you believe the manager of the IBF, WBA and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), their side “did everything” in the negotiations for a fight against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) at the beginning 2023. Now, says Egis Klimas, they’re just waiting for the outcome of Fury’s Dec. 3 meeting with Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs).
“From our side, everything is ready. Everything,” he said.

When Klimas was asked what would happen if Chisora unexpectedly upset Fury, Klimas calmly replied that “then we will unify the titles with Chisora”.

He does not know what Usyk will do if he wins the battle for the absolute. Retire from boxing?
“We’ll think about it,” the boxer’s manager said. How about we vacate all the titles, go back to cruiserweight and take all the titles there [снова]?
In general, Usyk does not understand why Fury needs a third fight with Chisora. The interviewer, whom Tyson yelled at, did not understand the same thing. And then Joshua reacted to how Fury “melted”.
