British middleweight Chris Eubank Jr (32-2, 23 KOs) promises to end his career if he is defeated by compatriot welterweight Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs) this Saturday.

Recall that their 12-round fight will take place in the contractual weight limit up to 71.2 kg.

“There is a lot of pressure on me because of this fight, no doubt about it. I’ve said it before, and it’s the first time I’ve said it in my entire career: if I lose, I’ll hang up my gloves. I love this sport, I like being a boxer. And I don’t want my career to end,” Eubank said.

“But if I lose to Benn at this stage of my career, it means that I am not the fighter that I thought I was or think I am. I want to fight for world titles in the next six months to a year and I can’t do it if I lose to Conor. My father passed away at 32. And I’m already 33, ”said Chris.

Previously, Chris Eubank Sr. called for a boycott of his son’s fight against Benn, and Conor’s promoter Eddie Hearn said that his ward would win anyway. At the same time, Eubank Jr. believes that his opponent has no chance.
