Joe Rogan claims he and Dana White have a deal.

The UFC has had Rogan as a regular podcaster and comedian for over two decades. 55, Rogan is now older but still works for UFC. His voice can be heard at many memorable moments and he continues to serve as lead color commentator on most of UFC’s domestic live-per-views.

And as long as White is around as UFC president, that doesn’t appear to be changing.

“If Dana leaves, I’m gone,” Rogan said on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (h/t MMA Junkie). “That’s in my contract.”

By now, Rogan is one of the longest-tentured employees in the UFC. Rogan’s first event was in 1997,, when he began his career as an interviewer on the backstage at UFC 12.. In the years since, he’s become one of the most widely recognized faces of the company.

In 2020, Rogan signed a huge deal with Spotify worth more than $100 millions for his podcast. This will ensure that Rogan is able to continue his UFC career without any problems. Just don’t expect it to come anytime soon.
