Page vs. Perry took place Aug. 20 at OVO Arena in London, England. Michael Page (0-1) and Mike Perry (2-0) collided in the main event. The fight aired live on the BKFC app.

Round 1: Perry quickly rushes in, clinching up, beating the body and drawing a separation from the ref. Perry’s back is turned by Page, who sneaks in one right and another hand. Hands at his sides. Page is Perry caught with a shot before he can land with that right hand. Perry gets an eight count standing. Perry moves forward, and the two of them clinch, drawing another seperation. Perry crowds Page with his long arms, and Page uses their length to fight backwards. They clinch again, and he muscles Perry across the ring before the break. The counter right is just off as Perry leads with his left, and they clinch to end the first frame.

Round 2: Perry again comes out swinging and gets momentarily stiffened by a right hand, momentarily hitting the canvas. The knockdown is not declared. Page attempts to continue, but Perry seems to be clinching. Perry makes another right turn, and then another. Perry winding up big, while Page is going for the straight shots and clinching up when his foe gets close. Another clinch as Perry muscles in, and Page pops him in open range. Perry trying to make this an ugly fight, and he draws another separation. Perry wins with a straight right and then the body is beaten in the clinch. Page wins the lead right hand, which is good news for him. Perry continues to hold on for seperation. Perry extends an overhand right, but misses wide when the second ends.

Round 3: Immediate clinch after Page fires. Perry attempting to chase down his man, with Page using rear-leg strikes to intercept. Perry makes a quick glance right but Perry can’t keep up with him. Clinch again, and they gets separated. Perry seems to be slowing down a little. Page has another lead, so Page is able to take an uppercut. Page’s uppercut is also a godsend. Perry takes it and clinches up. Each man moves a little slower. Perry continues to bleed while Page potshots Page. Page continues to weave and bob, and the clinch once more. Page’s third consists of Jabs going backwards and Page cutting the rear-right uppercut.

Round 4: Time called for doctor check on Perry’s cuts. Page follows him straight after him, passing easily. Perry gives Page a power right hook, Page rips Perry with a left and Page follows with his left. Another right uppercut for Page, and he muscles Perry off him. Feints making Perry bite, and Page interrupting rhythm with clinch, then potshots from distance. Page circles back and peels away with a left hook. Perry still trying to walk him down. Page’s mouth open…this is probably a more grueling fight than he imagined, though his strategy of hit and run appears to be paying off. Perry is tiring of the fight. Page lands a glancing shot as the round ends.

Round 5: Perry comes right after Page, swinging wild. Page pushes his foe with his shoulder and fires back using lefts and right. Perry fires another punch. He needs a big shot to change trajectory of this fight. Page waits for the split. He muscled in and dirt boxes Page. Jab and duck for Perry, and he leads with the right. Perry is clinching his jaws and he wraps his head around him. Perry keeps moving forward despite being tired. Perry jabs in and misses on his power right, and Page clinches up at the bell.

Overtime Round: Clearly, the judges didn’t agree, ruling a split draw. The overtime round will take place for the second consecutive time in BKFC’s history.

Perry hits Perry with a combination coming in, and then hooks on to his body. Perry attempts to catch Page ducking. Dirty boxing inside, but Page minimizes damage. Page goes to the body and ducks before Perry bullrushes in. Who wants it more. Page styling a bit, reaching for the clinch as Perry comes in. Perry slams into the clinch with counter hooks. Page is bleeding from the mouth and takes a severe uppercut. Perry is looking for the finish as Perry surges in. Perry scores a right hook to get Page’s attention. A short firefight as the fight finally comes to an end with both fighters bleeding and exhausted.
