Outrageous big man John Fury claims that he himself will do everything possible to convince his son, the reigning WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), to resume his career in order to fight for the title of absolute division.

On August 20, in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), the current champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) from Ukraine and Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) from Britain will determine the owner of all other heavyweight belts. It will be a rematch, and their first face-to-face fight took place in September in London (England) – the Ukrainian won by decision of the judges.

On the eve of revenge
Fury’s father said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Joshua wins. I feel in my gut that he will come to his senses and take revenge. And if he manages to win, then why not make the same fight? Even I want Tyson to take this fight. And I will insist that he do so, I will put pressure on him with all my might. If Usyk wins? What’s the difference? Tyson can run them both over. So why not do it?

Fury allegedly retired in April after defeating mandatory challenger compatriot Dillian Whyte, but he did not relinquish the belt. His co-promoter Bob Arum (Top Rank) promised at the beginning of the month: “We will organize the Usyk-Fury fight in December.”
