British heavyweight prospect (over 90.7 kg) David Adeleye (9-0, 8 KOs) gave
interview for local media.
In a conversation with a journalist, Adeleye commented on the upcoming rematch between the IBF / WBO / WBA title holder from Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), discussed another possible fight between British champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) vs. former British challenger Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs), and also spoke about the fight of former Australian champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) against British prospect Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs), scheduled for 24 September.
– Ahead of a big heavyweight rematch Alexander Usik – Anthony Joshua. What are your thoughts on the fight, David?
– Come on, AJ! Let’s hope he finishes the job. It will be better for boxing if he does. Yes man. It looks like he’s taking it more seriously now. It looks like the rematch will be a completely different Joshua. He definitely can do it, even if everyone writes him off. In the first fight, he caught Usyk, so it’s not like Usyk is untouchable. Usyk is a great fighter, I can’t take anything away from him, but he is a man, after all.
How will Joshua do it? People say that he should just shove, actively attack, impose his size and really bully. They say we should see the good old Joshua we saw earlier. Is this the kind of battle plan that should be in a fight with Usyk?
– Here’s how to look, to be honest. Because everyone can say – shove him, put pressure on him, and Usyk can fight better when the fighters go to him. So it might be different. What he shouldn’t do is box him. Use your attributes and use your advantages on it.

“I suppose it’s for fun. This should be a good fight. You already know this, because there will be Chisora. When Tyson fights, it’s fun, isn’t it? Now he has changed his style. The man knocks everyone out, does a devastating job with a lot of fighters, so it’s definitely going to be a good fight.
– An interesting fight between Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker was recently announced, I want to also hear your thoughts on it.
– Good fight. Look, I know both fighters very well. Trust me, this is a good fight. They will both come out with their best boxing. It will be one of the contenders for the fight of the year.
– Are there any forecasts?
“I really don’t know. Good fight, trust me. I think a lot of people choose Joyce, but look, I’ve seen Parker, Parker is a monster. So is Joyce, so it’s definitely going to be a good fight.
