The ex-world champion in three weight divisions, the Venezuelan techie-veteran lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) Jorge Linares (47-7, 29 KOs), will again hold his next fight in Yekaterinburg (Russia).

In November last year, the fighter signed a contract for several fights with the Russian company RCC Boxing Promotions.

In February, in the WBC eliminator, Linares made his debut as part of the show from RCC – led on points, but lost ahead of schedule to the Russian Zaur Abdullaev (15-1, 9 KOs).

RCC press office claims that the veteran will hold his next fight on October 20. The name of the opponent is not yet known.

In February, after the victory over Linares, Abdullaev challenged the strongest: “Haney, Garcia – I’m ready.”
