British top promoter Eddie Hearn does not hide the fact that he would like to organize a fight of his ward heavyweight Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) against former WBC world champion American Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs), who decided to resume his career after an early fiasco in the third fight with Tyson Fury in October last year.
About why this option makes sense, Hearn told in an interview with

“I love this fight and I think this fight is very dangerous. I fully admit that he can win, but at the same time he can end up in a brutal knockout, ”says the functionary. – I can also say that Deontay Wilder will potentially fight someone from the top 15 rating. So why doesn’t he meet the guy (Chisora) who just beat up Kubrat Pulev? Derek wants this fight, he wants the biggest fight possible.”
Eddie also offers Wilder another prominent British heavyweight to compete with:

Note that, unlike Chisora, White was defeated in the last fight, losing by knockout to Fury.
