General Director of the promotion company K2 Promotions Ukraine Oleksandr Krasyuk gave an interview to the Polish portal
Onet Sport and commented on the journalist’s assumption that the current world champion in three prestigious versions in the heavyweight category, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) will have no more than three fights in the professional ring.

“Even if Wladimir Klitschko has been thinking for several years whether to hold a boxing match and become the oldest world champion in history, in the case of Usyk it is also very difficult to answer this question,” Krasyuk emphasized. – Vitali Klitschko also retired from boxing in 2004, and returned four years later and again won the title. Now Usyk has a chance to go down in history, to become the absolute world champion in two weight categories, which will certainly allow him to get into the Boxing Hall of Fame, which Vladimir recently won, and earlier his older brother. Alexander has every chance to become third, because the level that he represents today is not only sports, it is already a legacy.”

Recall, on August 20, Usyk will have a rematch with the former world champion from Great Britain Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).

Previously, Usyk responded to those who consider his victory over Joshua easy, and Ruiz called the victory factor in the Usyk-Joshua rematch.
