The president Top Rank Todd Duboeuf in an interview with a correspondent
Sky Sports
talked about the chances of a fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion.

During the interview, he shared his opinion about the WBC champion Briton Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), as well as about the rematch for all other division belts between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0.1 3 KOs) and Briton Anthony Joshua ( 24-2, 22 KOs).

About Fury: I am often asked about it. But for now, he is retired and has not officially announced a comeback. What would you like me to do? Option one is to wait for the result of the rematch between Usyk and Joshua. Perhaps something will change after it. And so … You know, I never try to put myself in the place of a boxer. And I do not advise you. I don’t know what’s going on in his head. I only understand that Fury has already earned a huge fortune. And he left a mark in boxing. He did everything he wanted. Will he find motivation? Let him decide.”

About other variants of Fury: Commercially profitable would be a fight against Francis Ngannou. And I love how they both work to promote this potential event. This cauldron is already bubbling. But as far as I understand, Francis still has some contracts with the UFC. So I’m not sure this fight is real. Although it is potentially very cash.

About Usyk: We know he’s an incredible fighter. We know its incredible story. He left Ukraine during this goddamned time and is preparing for a rematch with Joshua. He is very good, but the question remains the same: is he really ready for heavyweight fights or just found a stylistically convenient opponent? I think that even in revenge we will partially get an answer to this question.

About Joshua: Not my opinion, but the opinion of the public – Joshua’s last chance. He cannot afford another defeat, as the fans will not understand and will not forgive. Damn, he won’t forgive himself for this. Especially now that he changed coaches and all that. It is obvious that he is stylistically uncomfortable to fight Usyk. Will he be able to change something? We will get the answer in revenge.

The first fight between Usyk and Joshua took place in September in London – the Ukrainian won by decision of the judges. The second fight will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

Fury announced his retirement after a spectacular victory over his mandatory challenger compatriot Dillian Whyte.

The other day, the analyst who called Usyk “middling” talked about the strategy for a rematch with Joshua. By the way, the ex-coach of the Ukrainian answered this scandalous statement.
