On July 16, in London (England), a boxing evening of the Queensberry Promotions promotion company Frank Warren will take place, the main event of which will be a duel for the vacant WBC Silver middleweight title (up to 72.6 kg) between Briton Hamza Shiraz (15-0, 11 KOs) and Argentina’s Francisco Emanuel Torres (17-3-1, 5 KOs).

In anticipation of the show, Warren advises taking a closer look at Shiraz, arguing that this is nothing less than a future star.

“For the first time, our rising middleweight star Hamza Shiraz, who impresses me in every sense, becomes the headliner,” an experienced functionary skillfully presents the ward to the public. “First and foremost, he can fight, he is now a solid middleweight with an impressive physical size that works in his favor and who has substantial power.”

“What else strikes me about him is his demeanor,” Warren continues. Hamza is a real young gentleman. Charismatic, charming, always polite. He really wants to succeed in boxing, but also wants to be a role model by inspiring others to use the power of the sport.”

“The upcoming fight for him is a ticket to the ratings, and if he continues in the same spirit, very soon Hamza will join the contender’s race for world titles,” Frank summed up.

We add that Saturday’s fight will be the second for Shiraz this year – in March, he knocked out compatriot Jez Smith in the 2nd round.

By the way, Hamza will have to fight with the same Torres, who in November last year almost upset the ex-contender for the world title Jose Benavidez – the judges pulled a draw.
