UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier shared his opinion about the fight between Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler.
“I watched their fight, it was fun,” Poirier told The MMA Hour. – What can I say? Such fights are bad for you. It’s crazy to take that kind of damage. I would beat any of them if they fought the same style against me. You can’t count on a belt with that style, you have to be more technical, more focused, you have to be a thinking fighter, not just shove forward.”
On November 7, Gaethje defeated Chandler via unanimous decision at UFC 268. Poirier will face Charles Oliveira on December 11 at UFC 269.
