Cody Durden was a great UFC fighter.
The bantamweight took 68 second to beat JP Buys, who was on the UFC Vegas 57 preliminary cards. He also picked up a TKO in round one.

Durden came into this fight with only one win from his four previous UFC appearances. But, he made it a highlight reel with an impressive performance against Buys. Durden landed a brutal punch to the head that almost brought down the South African fighter.
Buys was hunched over and appeared to be frozen as Durden cracked him with follow-up ground-and-pound, landing over a dozen punches before referee Mark Smith jumped in for the save.
Durden is now in his first fight since July 2020,, which was also his last bout before joining the UFC. His previous win inside the octagon came over Aoriqileng via unanimous decision.
Buys falls to 0-3 in the UFC.
