The 33-year old American Top Team member scored one of the highlights at Bellator 282 on Friday when he defeated Maycon Mendonca in a brutal walk-off knockout that took 58 only seconds.
Homasi (17-10) entered the night with a bit of extra motivation following a dust-up between the two at Thursday’s weigh-ins, and in the end, he made Mendonca (11-6) pay. The Sleek Sheik exploded forward in the first round with punches, tagging Mendonca with several rights and lefts along fence. Mendonca was then sent to the floor with an overhand right.

Homasi has now won two straight fights and five of his seven appearances in the Bellator cage. Mendonca, meanwhile, drops to 0-2 in the promotion.
