“I sent it back to China.” UFC has a racist scandal

American fighter Cody Darden has been criticized on social media for his speech after fighting China’s Aori Kuileng at UFC Fight Nights 198 in Las Vegas.

Darden won by unanimous decision and then gave a mandatory post-match interview with commentator Daniel Cormier. He first encouraged fans to follow his Instagram and thanked his team before stating, “I sent him back to China – where he came from.”

The fighter’s words were met with a disapproving rumble. Cormier decided to end the interview immediately. In social networks, Darden became the object of criticism – including from the UFC fighters. For example, he has already been challenged by Jeff Molina and Muhammad Mokaeva.

Darden is 30 years old. He has 12 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw in MMA (1-1-1 in the UFC).
