The rating of the best boxers in the world has been updated, regardless of the weight categories according to the version
ESPN – the unified light heavyweight champion Russian Artur Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs) got into the top 10, who over the weekend dealt with the WBO belt holder American Joe Smith Jr. (28-4, 22 KOs).
The confident performance of the knockout impressed the experts so much that they put him in 7th place in their rating immediately after the unified heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs).
Beterbiev overtook his only competitor in the division of WBA Super champion compatriot Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) and took the place that Ukrainian ex-lightweight hegemon Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) used to have.

Coppinger was asked why Lomachenko is still in the top ten.
Reviewer replied, thus explaining the main criterion for choosing colleagues on ESPN: “It’s very simple. We consider him one of the ten strongest fighters in the world. This is not a list of the most successful fighters, this is not a list of fighters with the most belts. This is a personal-subjective list of fighters that we consider to be the strongest as of today.”
