Roman Kryklya dominated the whole fight and defeated Andriy Stoica on points

Two-meter giant Roman Kryklya (45–7, 24 KO) from Ukraine on December 18 defended the title of the champion according to the One Championship kickboxing promotion.

Singapore hosted the ONE Championship: Collision Course tournament. In the main battle, the opponent of the Ukrainian was Andrew Stoyka (52–12, 29 KO) from Romania.

Roman Kryklya dominated the whole fight and won on points.

Recall that the 29-year-old Kryklya was the world champion according to K-1, A1, TNA, as well as the champion of Ukraine among amateurs according to WAKO. In November 2019, the Ukrainian beat Tarik Khbabez from Morocco and became the champion of One Championship.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kryklya has been without a fight for over a year. In the spring, Roman was supposed to defend his title just in a duel against Stoica, but the event was canceled completely. On December 4, Krykli’s fight against Turkish Murat Aygun did not take place, as the Ukrainian’s coach passed a positive test for COVID-19. Roman stayed in Singapore and made a successful first title defense against Andrei Stoica.
