The absolute lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) American Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) said that after defeating George Kambosos (20-1, 10 KOs), he is most interested in fights against compatriot Gervonta Davis (27- 0, 25 KOs) and Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs).
At the same time, we recall that Devin has contractual obligations to Kambosos, whom he defeated on points on June 5 in Australia. Kambosos intends to exercise his legal right to a rematch and face Haney once again in the ring before the end of the year.
“These two interest me the most – Loma and Tank. These fights are interesting to me more than others. Although I will fight anyone. After all, I am a real fighter, ”said Haney.
“These fights (against Davis and Lomachenko) are more interesting to me than others, but we don’t always manage to bring them to life,” Devin complained. “Business remains business, and I understand that. Let’s see what my team will offer me, and see what will be realistic.
Meanwhile, Haney was asked about Lomachenko and whether he would knock out Kambosos in a rematch: his answers are on video.
