AMC Fight Nights middleweight champion Vladimir Mineev has expressed interest in fighting former Bellator champion Alexander Shlemenko.
“I have repeatedly said that the fight with Sasha [Шлеменко] I’m interested, and this could be one of the coolest events of the next year,” Mineev said live on Instagram. – It would be cool. I believe that today we are two bright tops that could come together and show the show if we all agree. We are ready”.
Shlemenko, 37, is currently a fighter in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC league. Shlemenko is expected to fight for the Eagle FC middleweight title next March.
In his last fight, which took place on October 16 in Krasnaya Polyana at the AMC Fight Nights 105 tournament, Mineev defeated Magomed Ismailov by TKO in the third round.
The next day, in the same place – in Krasnaya Polyana, Shlemenko won against Artur Huseynov by unanimous decision. The fighters headlined the main event of the EFC 42 tournament.
