The Russian Muay Thai team won 108 medals at the Thai Boxing Championship and World Championship in Bangkok.
Athletes competed under the flag of the Olympic Committee – after the recognition of Muay Thai by the IOC, the team was automatically subject to the CAS decision to ban the use of the Russian flag.
As a result, instead of the Russian flag and anthem, the athletes came out under the logo of the Russian Olympic Committee, with the abbreviation RMF (the international name of the Thai Boxing-Muaythai Federation of Russia) and the song “Heroes of Sports”.
