The head of the Top Rank promotional company, Bob Arum, shared his prediction for the main fight of this boxing week, in which on June 5 in Melbourne (Australia) American Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) and Australian George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs) will meet.
Recall that the title of absolute lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) will be at stake: Haney is the WBC world champion, while Cambossou owns titles in the other three prestigious versions – WBA, IBF and WBO.
“I think Kambosos will try to knock out Haney, but Devin is a very good boxer. My prediction: Haney win on points, although this is a fight that can end in either direction,” said Arum.
