UFC President Dana White has shared his opinion that the fight between former UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and PFL champion Kayla Harrison will not take place.
“These things happen. An Amanda Nunes-Kyla Harrison fight would be a huge deal, White told Larry Brown Sports. – If they met in the octagon, it would be a massive fight for millions of dollars. Had Amanda Nunes won today, the fight against Kayla Harrison would have been one of the greatest things we’ve ever seen.”
On December 12, Nunes lost to Juliana Peña in the main event of UFC 269. The American took away the UFC bantamweight title from the Brazilian, winning by choke in the second round. At the same time, Nunes retains the UFC Featherweight Championship.
