Kayla Harron has booked her next fight as she faces off against ex-Bellator featherweight champion Julia Budd in PFL 6 in Atlanta on July 1.
Harrison vs. Budd will headline the card that features women’s lightweights and welterweights as part of the 2022 PFL regular season.
Harrison is unbeaten in her fight career and has been the face of PFL for many years. She’ll now be looking to win 2022 her second victory after beating Marina Mokhnatkina unanimously. That served as the first fight on her new deal with the PFL after Harrison re-signed with the promotion following the first free agency period in her career.
As for Budd, she’s looking to get back on track after suffering a loss to Genah Fabian back in May, which dropped her PFL record to 1-1 overall. After her time with Bellator, the former fighter signed with PFL. However, she will need to win a huge upset against Harrison to be able to reach the 2022 playoffs.
After both picking up victories earlier in the year, Rory MacDonald will be making his comeback to the cage against Sadibou Sy. MacDonald had faced plenty of ups and downs since joining the PFL roster but he’s now gunning for a welterweight championship run following a strong performance over Brett Cooper in May.
