Bagautinov – about a career in MMA: “There is an offer from the UFC, but I’m still thinking”

Former UFC flyweight title contender Ali Bagautinov may return to the strongest league in the world after participating in the final confrontation of the Brave FC Grand Prix. So Bagautinov answered the question about the possible end of a career in MMA.

“Thoughts about this (ending a career after the finals of the Brave FC Grand Prix. – Approx. “SE”), of course, there are, but they are like that … I want to do some things already, I want to devote more time to my family, since I I hardly see them because of the constant fees and trips. I don’t see how children grow up. I would like to spend more time with them. I would like to have more children, ”said Bagautinov after the defeat from Ruslan Provodnikov.

“Now there is a goal – to take the championship belt, the world title. After that, it will be visible. If there are worthy offers, then I will continue to fight there. If not, then there is an offer from the UFC, but I’m still thinking. While there are contractual obligations that must be fulfilled.

On December 19, at the Open FC 15 tournament in Moscow, Bagautinov fought Ruslan Provodnikov according to the rules of boxing, losing to him by a separate decision of the judges. After this fight, the former world boxing champion Provodnikov announced his retirement.

The 36-year-old Bagautinov has 22 wins and 7 losses in MMA. In his last fight, he defeated Sean Santell ahead of schedule and reached the final of the BRAVE CF flyweight Grand Prix.
