Undefeated Swedish MMA fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev posted a video on his Instagram, showing the conditions in which he lived before moving to the UFC.
“2019 year. That’s all I had. Here’s something like this, guys. Change your life yourself. No one will do it for you!” — Chimaev wrote under the video post.
To date, 27-year-old Chimaev is one of the most popular fighters in the UFC. He has 10 victories in 10 fights. His next opponent could be top welterweight Gilbert Burns.
Chimaev last fought at the end of October at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi, where he defeated Lee Jinglian by choke in the first round.
