Kevin Holland helped apprehend a burglar
UFC fighter Kevin Holland neutralized an armed robber in a Houston restaurant.
The incident took place at the Highland Village sushi restaurant. Witnesses claim that an unknown person entered the institution and fired into the air. Most of the visitors hid, but three people, including Holland, stopped the shooter. By the time the police arrived, the suspect had already been arrested and his weapon had been confiscated.
A Houston Police Department spokesman said the alleged shooter was 24-year-old Jesús Edrai Cardiel Samaniego. The suspect was charged with possession of stolen weapons and use of firearms.
One of the heroes of the detention, Patrick Robinson, recounted the incident: “We were eating, and the next thing you know is a gunshot. We tied him up, detained him, took away his gun and the bag that he had.”
