Flemington, Australia. In the main event of the evening, 49-year-old ex-champion Sam Soliman (49-17-1, 19 KOs) and his lesser-known colleague competed for the ANBF Australian middleweight title (up to 72.6 kg)
Joel Camilleri (25-8-1, 13 KOs).

The fight did not turn out to be competitive – the veteran capitulated already in the starting round.

Camilleri shook Soliman with a right over his arm and rushed to finish off. The ex-champion was hiding behind a block in the corner of the ring, but missed the right straight, after which he flattened himself on the canvas. The veteran tried to get to his feet, but to no avail.

Camilleri TKO 1.

Liverpool, Australia. In the limit of the second featherweight (up to 59 kg), the local fighter Billel Dib (26-4, 13 KOs) flew in early ahead of the Nicaraguan Francisco Fonseca (31-3-2, 25 KOs).

Dib was knocked down in the opening round, and in the second three-minute period he wiped the flooring of the ring with his fifth point three more times.

Fonseca TKO 2.
