After suffering a second disputed defeat in a row, former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan is considering pursuing a career outside of the world’s strongest league roster.
Former double UFC champion Daniel Cormier announced this in the next edition of his analytical program on ESPN.
“I have a small insider – Petr Yan is so upset about this decision, and the decision against Aljo, that I heard he is considering other options to continue his career, because he does not feel that he is treated with due respect in the organization,” said American. “This is madness”
Last weekend at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, the Russian suffered a loss in a potential Candidates match, losing a split decision to Sean O’Malley, and six months earlier failed to regain the championship belt in a rematch with Aljamain Sterling, losing to him with a similar result.
