UFC Featherweight No. 14 Ilya Topuria will replace the injured Movsar Evloev and face Bryce Mitchell in the main event of UFC Fight Night 214 on November 5 in Las Vegas.
“Definitively decided! See you on November 5, ”the Georgian fighter wrote on the social network. “Ready to die making weight!”
Mitchell also confirmed that Topuria would be his next opponent.
25-year-old Ilia Topuria is undefeated and is on a 12-win streak, four of which he won under the UFC banner. The last time a Georgian fighter entered the octagon was in March of this year, knocking out Jay Herbert in the second round.
Bryce Mitchell, 28, is also undefeated, and won his sixth UFC win in March this year in a unanimous decision over Edson Barboza. At the moment, the American occupies the ninth line in the ranking of the organization’s featherweights.
