In Las Vegas, the UFC 255 tournament was held at the UFC APEX arena. In the main battle of the event, Deiveson Figueiredo and Alex Perez met for the flyweight title. The fight ended in the first round: Figueiredo caught Perez “on the guillotine”, winning by sambo.
It was Deiveson Figueiredo’s first UFC title defense.
In the co-main event of the tournament, Valentina Shevchenko defeated Jennifer Maya via unanimous decision.
