Former UFC champion in two weight divisions, Conor McGregor, was marked by an attack on the former UFC bantamweight title holder, Petr Yan, pointing out the similarity of the Russian with his compatriot “Hasbeek”, who signed a contract with the world’s strongest league so long ago.
“Congratulations to Hasbullah on signing to UFC,” the Irishman wrote on social media, posting a photo of Ian.
Last year, Conor McGregor publicly doubted that Petr Yan is the best boxer in the UFC, promising to dismantle him in the rack, after which the Russian invited the Irishman to confirm his words with deeds. In response, McGregor said he was ready to test his boxing skills in sparring with a Russian fighter, promising to invite him along with the team to Ireland.
As for the popular Russian blogger, not so long ago, the Irishman asked the organization’s management to arrange a sparring match with Khasbulla Magomedov, who had previously introduced a domestic rooster named “Conor McGregor” to his numerous subscribers.
Recall that Petr Yan will return to the octagon this weekend at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, and American Sean O’Malley will face the Russian in the Candidates match.
