President Tomas Yu of WMMAA Pan-American Division has appointed Jorge Alberto Sanaruccia and the Asociascion Nicaraguense de Artes Marciales  Mixtas (ANAMM) as our official affiliates in Nicaragua.Sanarrucia is the president and founder of ANAMM and new member to the WMMAA Pan-American Regulatory Committee.“It is critical for an organization like ours to exist, to add umbiased structure not just for athletes but also as regulatory bodies,” said Jorge Sanarrucia. “Much continues to happen since ANAMM was formed in Nicaragua. We just celebrated our first national championship to select the 2016 Nicaragua National Team. I look forward to using my experience and the volumes of knowledge the WMMAA brings to Nicaragua. I share the vision and with all my efforts we will defend, promote and endorse MMA as a sport and to give all participants and fans a significant difference in the sport.Alongside the appointment of Jorge Sanarrucia, ANAMM also announced the election of Dr. Justo Pavia Director of Pan-American Medical Committee to lead the formation of the Nicaragua Medical Committee. “We continue to grow with every new country and take the MMA movement, and the recognition of MMA as a sport, forward.
