On September 7 the World Cup MMA Qualifying Round was successfully held and was organized under the auspices of the World Association of MMA (WMMAA) in Borispol on the central stadium “Kolos”. A lot of fans of this kind of sport came to watch these spectacular fights. Teams from Moldova, Belarus, and Ukraine took part in the Championship in five weight categories. Due to impossibility to participate in the World Cup instead of the Team Armenia hors concours took part Team Ukraine 2.

The Team-Winner, the Team Ukraine 1 got the opportunity to participate in the World Cup which will take place in Antalia (Turkey) in December this year.
Vladimir Soldatenko gained the Intercontinental Champion belt for Ukraine when won Muscovite Jury Ogirya.
The World Association of MMA (WMMAA) and Federation of the Mixed Martial Arts of Ukraine were the organizers of the World Cup MMA Qualifying Round in Borispol (Ukraine). Assistance and help with organizing prestigious international tournament was given by Aleksandr Denisov – General Partner of the Tournament, Deputy of the Borispol City Council. The main referee of the tournament was Vahabzhan Muratov.
Honorable guests were invited to the opening and rewarding ceremony: Artur Palatniy – Head of the Committee of family, youth politics, sport and tourism of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Anatoliy Fedorchuk – Head of the Borispol City Council, Igor Shalimov – Director of the entertaining complex “Barhat” and other high officials.
On behalf of the World Association of MMA (WMMAA) and Federation of Mixed Martial Arts of Ukraine and Dmitry Khrystyk First Vice-President of the World Association of MMA (WMMAA), President of the League of Mixed Martial Arts in Ukraine for making contribution to the development of Mixed Martial Arts in Ukraine, development of the physical culture and sport in Ukraine, popularization of the healthy lifestyle were awarded Artur Palatniy, Anatoly Fedorchuk, Aleksandr Denisov and also patrons and partners of the Tournament.
Thanks to efficient organization of organizational committee the Tournament of international class was well planned and professionally prepared.
